Altissimo enduro bike trail

Monte Altissimo of Nago (2079m) forms part of the Garda Prealps and the Monte Baldo range. When you reach the top of Altissimo you will have a wonderful view and you can stop at the Altissimo Refuge Damiano Chiesa where you will find good food and a warm welcome.

This enduro bike route is difficult and is one of the most beautiful around Lake Garda but you must have good experience of mountain biking. You will go up 813 m and coming down the route is 2451 m long.

You go up from Malcesine with the cable car to the top of Monte Baldo and from Tratto Spino you begin to pedal. It is hard work physically and technically but well worth the effort.
There are 3km of tarmac road and the rest is dirt track with technical uphill parts and varied descents over rough rocky paths and through the woods.
